You know how it goes. You meet a nice Spanish guy on a night out, he gives you his number, you put it in your bag and your bag gets stolen.
That’s what happened to Vaide Kul, who is now on a mission to find “Marcos”, a 33-year-old writer living in Leyton who she got chatting to at a bus stop after leaving pub Number 90 in Hackney Wick a few weeks ago.
“He took three pages from my favourite notebook – I loved that,” said Vaide. “He sat down and started to write me a letter and gave it to me, and I wrote his number on it. I was really happy.”
But in true rom com style, Vaide lost the number – she fell asleep in a park the next day and had her bag stolen.
Are you Marcos? Do you know him? If so, email sam.gelder@archant.co.uk
