A pair of two-foot long “zombie killer” knives were found under a car in Homerton by police.
Officers found the huge serrated blades, which are used in horror films and sold online, after being called to Daubeney Road on Tuesday night.
Sgt Luke Halls posted a picture of his team’s find on Twitter, highlighting the size of the weapons.
No arrests have been made and officers are investigating the incident.
