Maxwell Sarfo-Adu snatched a late winner for Dickie Davies Cup holders Black Meteors as they came from behind to avoid an upset against Birkbeck Orient.

Mike Long gave Division Three leaders Birkbeck a shock first-half lead in their second round tie, but Nana Yaw-Agyei equalised for the Premier Division side and Sarfo-Adu netted 10 minutes from time to secure their 2-1 victory.

FC Polit also progressed to the third round with a 3-1 win over fellow Division One side Highfield.

John Moore struck a first-half brace for Polit and, although Highfield’s Marcus Renford reduced the deficit soon after the break, Tommy Mayers sealed his side’s victory with a third goal.

Wojack Sunday edged out Boston Celtic 4-3 with goals from Bradley Carter, Sean Moore, Andre Martin and Lee Hall. Leigh Hartley, with a brace, and Jed O’Malley replied for Celtic.

Division Three side City Fliers triumphed 4-3 against top-flight Albion Manor, overturning a 3-2 deficit thanks to Mikey Parker’s equaliser and a 30-yard screamer from Aaron Chandler.

Niva-Unistream beat Homerton Rangers 3-2, while Tony Bradley’s double helped Division Three side FC Duchess to rout Dynamics 5-0.

Premier Division leaders FC Bartlett made hard work of their 2-0 victory over Jay Cubed, with Nze Onye and Vincent Williams both netting in the second half of extra time after a scoreless 90 minutes.

Forest Athletic beat Woodford Rovers 3-2 with goals from Bradley O’Donovan, Aaron Johnson and Dwayne Sharron. Kevin Lowe and Temi Akamo replied for Rovers.

Ashley Green scored twice, with James Brockbank also finding the net as Athletico Angels extended their lead in Division Two to seven points by edging out Bristow City 3-2.

NLMFC triumphed 3-1 against Azzuri 1 with goals from Mohammed Osman, Kamal Manca and Maaz Haffesi, while Raymond Richardson’s brace helped Walthamstow Village to a 3-0 victory over Club 22.

Chris Andrews, Matt Herring and Jamie Cerby were all on target as Bocca Albion defeated Regent’s Park Rovers 3-1 in Division Three.

In Division Four, Leyton Orient Fans Trust beat Eastway Olympia 3-0 with goals from Reece O’Connell, James Stoley and Paul Jenkins, while Nick Jackson’s late strike gave East London a 3-2 win over Leyton Manor.
