Paul leads in the leaders of the Assembly

PAUL Martelletti led Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets AC home in the latest Assembley League road-race around the O2 Arena, Greenwich last weekend, when he completed the five kilometre course in 15 mins 55 secs. Dave Allcock of VP&TH came in fifth in 16.22,

PAUL Martelletti led Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets AC home in the latest Assembley League road-race around the O2 Arena, Greenwich last weekend, when he completed the five kilometre course in 15 mins 55 secs.

Dave Allcock of VP&TH came in fifth in 16.22, while Tony Lashmare was eighth home in 16.49.

The next race in the series is the penultimate race on home ground for VP &TH members, as it's around Victoria Park on Thursday, July 31.

The league concludes with its final race at Beckenham on Thursday, September 4.

VP&TH currently lead the mens league with 232 points. Their nearest rivals have 41 points more. In the womens league, they currently lie third.
