El Valiente marched into the next round of the London Junior Cup with a hard-fought 6-5 win over Teviot Rangers.

The Division One side were trailing 5-4 and were down to 10 men, but they got back on level terms before Kane Malone scored his second of the game in the final five minutes to complete the turnaround.

Goals from Malone, Ashley Diamond, player-manager Matty Guidera and two from Aaron Marston had set up a grandstand finish before Malone beat five players and curled his shot beyond the Rangers goalkeeper.

In the Dickie Davies Cup, Joe Cridcand scored four as South London Sharks beat City Fliers 7-1, with a further goal from Brett Zimmerman and a Chris Bremen brace.

Another side to celebrate a 7-1 victory were Jay Cubed, who swept aside newcomers Jack Barry St Germaine with two goals apiece from Patrick Barrett and Asha Dallas and further strikes from Nathan Rosel, Jonathan Signore and Jason Fixon.

Boundary Estate are out after suffering a 5-1 loss to Boston Celtics. Nick Harvey put Boundary in front but goals from Dan Keohane, George Carroll, Ricky Price and two from Leigh Hartley ensured it was Celtics who progressed.

In the Hackney & Leyton League Premier Division, FC Bartlett got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over an in-form Shakespeare. Jhon Hind put the Shakes 1-0 up but Bartlett scored twice through Temi Tope and Amor Mclearn to lift them to second in the league.

The league’s top goalscorer Elliot Crosby maintained his touch in front of goal with another hat-trick for Tottenham Phoenix but it was not enough as Jake Davey’s treble helped league leaders Mile End to a 4-3 victory.

Young London Meteors continued to build momentum with a 4-1 win over Highfield as goals from Toks Williams, Derrick Attakorah, and two from Prince Ampongola completed a comfortable victory.

In Division One, honours were even between Athletico Angels and Bristow City as Thomas Griffins’ strike for City was cancelled out by Angels’ Pau Santamaria.

Birkbeck Orient A inflicted a second defeat of the season on Wounded Knee with an emphatic 6-0 win, thanks in part to a brace from Mike Long. Ross Kerwood scored twice himself, and Miles Creeum and substitute Martin Weimar were also on target.

Heegan maintained their winning streak by romping to a 6-3 victory over Dynamics with two goals each for Abidilahi Nur, Khalid Jamac and Hassan Aden. Dynamics’ Jose Cruz scored all three of his side’s goals but it was not enough to prevent a fifth defeat of the season.

In Division Two, FC Stepney maintained their incredible start to the campaign as a 6-2 win over Tommy Flynn left them unbeaten after five games.

Braces from John Ashman and Yusuf Olajide, in addition to further strikes by Billy Barry and Darius Freeman, preserved the club’s one-point cushion at the summit.

Two goals from David Frost helped Boroughs United beat BG United 4-3 in a tight encounter. John Oyeookun and Abraham Udofia were also on target for Boroughs, while Bilyan Banov (2) and top scorer Hristo Andonov replied for BG.

Delta beat Top Red 6-1 with goals from Mark Hennessy, Chris Dennehy, Daniel Anthony, Jay Knight, Ricky Hanmore and Bailey Morgan.

Player-manager Jesse Joseph opened the scoring for Ele FC but Nick Jones equalised for FC BKT to make it 1-1 on the day.

In Division Three, Waltham Forest remain top of the table as Ciaran Mclean scored twice in a 3-1 victory over Gladstone Wanderers.

Wojak Sunday joined leaders Waltham Forest on 12 points at the top after a resounding 7-2 win over Football Club 22.

Goals from Ollie Taylor and Anthony Doddy, as well as doubles from Ian Bruce and Alex Horne, completed the scoring for Wojak, while Israel Tshiheva and Arhad Sadullah responded for Club 22.

Regent’s Park Rovers made it two wins in a row as Martin Pellummy scored a hat-trick in their 5-2 triumph over Bocca Albion.

Cameron Flynn and Carlo Venture scored for Bocca but further strikes by Scott Caddock and Dean Broadhurst sealed Rovers’ victory.

Meanwhile, a Troy Strachan hat-trick was the difference as Maynell defeated Stratford Athletic 3-0 to move up to sixth.

In Division Four, the Eagles continue to soar after Carl Mullines scored five in an 8-2 win over Eastway Olympia, while Tommy Maher helped himself to a hat-trick.

Black Borough were held to an entertaining 3-3 draw by East London. Kane Reid scored twice for East London, but Daniel Little responded in kind, resulting in Borough’s fourth draw of the season.

Birkbeck Orient B are up to fifth after a 3-1 win over Bow Badgers. Adam Meagher, Idris Shittu and Sheriff Odukoya were all on target as Orient recorded their second success of the campaign.
