Farren fires East London into next round of the cup

A second-half strike from Stuart Farren sent Division Four side East London into the second round of the Dickie Davies Cup at the expense of Boroughs United.
Boston Celtic are also through after they edged out Division Three rivals Gladstone Wanderers 3-2. Leigh Hartley and Ged Burke put Celtic 2-0 up before Rob Myers levelled the tie with a brace, only for Nathan Skelton to score a late winner.
Palevici Emanuel and Motac Darius both scored twice for Lions FC in their 7-1 win over Angel & Crown, while Birkbeck Orient A beat Chapel 3-0 with goals from Nathan Trefay, Mike Long and Chris Agathangou.
The lead changed hands several times before Leyton Manor finally saw off Regent’s Park Rovers 5-4 in one of the ties of the round, with David Jolly netting a late winner.
Ibby Sal Jr and Haydar Sal both grabbed braces as Dynamics triumphed 7-3 against Division Four side Renaissance, who had held them 2-2 at the break.
