FC Bartlett fight back to reach Albert Daniels Cup final

Lee Heneghan’s late volley sealed holders FC Bartlett’s place in the Albert Daniels Cup final as they came from behind to beat RL United 2-1.
Matty Harris gave RL the lead early in the second half, but Nze Onyekwe equalised and Heneghan settled the tie to boost Bartlett’s hopes of adding the trophy to their league title.
Niva-Unistream now stand between Bartlett and a second successive cup triumph, having edged out fellow Premier Division side Black Meteors 3-2 in the other semi-final.
Constantin Tronciu, Maks Voloskin and Roman Zelenin were all on the mark for Niva, with Richard Ofusu netting both goals for Meteors.
The third round of the Jack Walpole Cup also got under way, with Premier Division outfit Phoenix progressing following their 10-0 demolition of City Fliers.

There was also a treble for Forest Athletic’s Bradley Donovan as they inflicted a crushing 7-1 defeat on FC Haggerston, for whom Sam Anjarin netted a consolation goal.
Goals from Liam Steffano and Jay Andrews earned FC Polit a surprise 2-1 win against Dynamics in Division One, with Stephan Robinson on target for the defeated promotion hopefuls.
Not a ball was kicked in Division Two, where leaders Athletico Angels were awarded the points after Walthamstow Village failed to fulfil their fixture – and it was a similar story for Jay Cubed, whose game against Azzuri 1 failed to go ahead.
Birkbeck Orient closed the gap on Division Three leaders City Fliers to two points following their 3-1 victory over third-placed Shoreditch Fire Penguins.
Charlie Hopkinson gave Orient the lead midway through the first half and Mike Long’s second-half double increased their advantage before Duncan Coombes pulled a goal back.
Paul Morris and Will Sharpe netted two goals apiece for Regent’s Park Rovers as they hammered Wenlock Arms 6-1, with Sami George and Jack Drinkwater also on the scoresheet. Jay Shean replied for Wenlock.
Daniel Monero’s 80th-minute strike was enough to seal a 1-0 victory for Maynell as they edged out Prince of Bow to go top of Division Four.
Maynell replace previous leaders Top Red, who tumbled to a 6-2 defeat by Eastway Olympia. Daniel Little grabbed four of Eastway’s goals, with Jason Gardner and Stephan Boyce-Hall also on target.
The quest for promotion has now developed into a six-horse race after Boston Celtic flattened East London 9-1, with Rick Price rattling in a hat-trick and Leigh Hartley scoring twice.
Goals from James Stacey, Billy Stewart, Alec Cox, Michael Coules and Rikky McKenna earned Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust a 5-3 success against Wojack Sunday, for whom Dean Waite scored twice.
