John Cutts netted a brace to steer Prince of Bow into the second round of the Jack Walpole Cup with a 3-1 victory over Maynell.

Steve O’Reilly was also on target, while Lee Brown replied for Maynell on a day of few upsets – although Division Three side FC Duchess sent Football Club 22 packing in some style.

Ricky Hanmore and Aaron Hogarth scored two apiece for Duchess, while Kurtley Shallow also found the net as their Division Two opponents took a 5-0 beating.

Abiola Boston struck a hat-trick, with Maaz Hafojil also on the mark as North London Muslim FC swept past fellow Division Two side Bristow City 4-0.

Lee Hall’s treble gave Wojack Sunday a 3-0 half-time lead over East London, and Bradley Carter, Ian Bruce and Andre Martin added further goals after the break without reply.

James Brockbank put Athletico Angels in front against Forest Athletic, but Ben Hardy’s hat-trick, with Dwayne Sharron and Luke Cato also on target, ensured that Forest emerged as 5-1 winners.

Woodford Rovers gained revenge for the previous week’s penalty shoot-out defeat by Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust as they triumphed 8-2, with Temi Akamo scoring four of their goals.

Matt Stevens hit a double for City Fliers in their 4-2 win against Regent’s Park Rovers, with Andy Shaw and Paul Morton also scoring. Dominic Weiss and Joe Hanmore replied for Rovers.

Goals from Rick Hennessey and Daniel Colley, along with a brace from Gianpaulo Floris, earned Division Three side Delta Athletic a 4-0 victory over Angel & Crown from the league above.

Michael Long and Jon Millard both scored twice for Division Three leaders Birkbeck Orient in their 7-0 rout of Stratford Athletic, while Wenlock Arms overcame Top Red 3-1.

Jay Cubed beat Leyton Manor 7-3, with Patrick Barrett scoring twice for the winners and Jason Harley, Jack Taylor, Scott Aqualing, Jamie Luxford and Luke Trimm also on target.

A late goal from Nze Onyekwew took FC Bartlett to the Premier Division summit as they overcame Niva-Unistream 1-0, while previous leaders Phoenix were held to a 0-0 draw by Black Meteors.

Antony White gave RL United the lead midway through the second half against Mustard FC, but Ben Kerry equalised 10 minutes later to ensure that the points were shared.

Tottenham Phoenix wiped out a two-goal deficit to beat Red Devils 4-2, with Grace Odumna netting twice and Messiah Odumna and Jerome Anglin also on the scoresheet.

John Moore and Joseph Andrews struck a brace apiece as FC Polit beat Division One leaders Dynamics FC 4-1, while Homerton FC hammered Newcresse 7-1.

Lee Chandlier, Troy Deering and Terry Butler all scored two goals in Shakespeare FC’s 8-1 thrashing of Wounded Knee, while Wesley Erskine and Mace Browne were also on target. John Bray hit a late consolation for Knee.

Highfield edged out Hackney FC 3-2, with Ike Mzoma recording a brace and Marcus Renford hitting the other goal. Dwayne Marson replied with both the Hackney goals.

Arlindo Gusson found the net twice for Walthamstow Village as they defeated Azzurri 1 5-0 in Division Two, with Raymond Richardson, Jermaine DaCosta and an own goal completing the scoring.
