A Jeffrey Cobblah double inspired the Tons to a fourth consecutive win with a 2-1 victory against Enfield FC at the Harlow Arena.

The pacey winger got off the mark in the first-half and again in the second but the hosts did managed to claw one back in the dying stages of the match.

Jonny Fowell’s men remain sixth in the Essex Senior League and are now level on points with Takeley in fifth place.

Jeffrey Cobblah tweeted after the match: “Great performance from team today to earn the win.

“Glad to get on the scoresheet again with a brace and get my 18th of the season.

“Fans were superb as always.”

Lanre Vigo, who has just returned from injury, also tweeted: “Very good win today, delighted we got the three points, thank you for the great atmosphere Clapton Ultras - btw the guy playing drums was sick.”

The Tons will be away from home again next weekend as they take on mid-table Stansted as they continue to try chase down the top five.
