Baba Amando scored twice as London Meteors ended Clapton Rangers’ unbeaten record with a 4-1 triumph in their Hackney & Leyton League Premier Division clash.

Richard Owusu and Joe Aquah gave Meteors a two-goal advantage at half-time and, although Bradley Drisdale narrowed the deficit with a stunning volley, Amando’s double sealed the points.

Vincent Williams netted a superb hat-trick, with Shawn Hinds scoring two goals as FC Bartlett came from behind twice to beat RL United 8-4.

Nze Onyekwe, Amor McLaren and Kane Mallett were also on target for Bartlett, while Darren Whelan netted twice for RL, who had led 3-2 at the break.

Chris Owusu netted a brace for New Kuba in their 2-2 draw with Niva-Unistream, while Terry Butler’s hat-trick helped Shakespeare to a 6-3 victory over Mile End.

Greg Moorse scored twice to help Mustard move up to third place with a 5-3 win over Tottenham Phoenix. Korah Cook, Tom McGhee and Joe Harding were also on the scoresheet for Mustard.

Dwayne Sharron’s double helped to secure a 4-1 win for Forest Athletic against Wounded Knee as they moved level with Division One leaders MDM.

A 30-yard strike by Denis Arteaga gave Dynamics a 1-0 victory against Heegan, while Riviera romped to a 9-2 success against 10-man Athletico Angels.

Lions overcame Newcresse 6-3, while goals from Quincey Roberts, Michael Skelton and Joel Appiah earned Hackney All Stars a 3-1 success against over Highfield.

Fred Russell netted a hat-trick for Division Two leaders Bristow City in their 5-2 win over second-placed FC Grove, with John Sunyer scoring Bristow’s other two goals.

Goals from Javan Andre and Sean Goss enabled City Fliers to edge out Angel & Crown 2-1, while Peter Moncur scored twice for FC Haggerston as they defeated Shoreditch Fire Penguins 4-3.

Goals from Martin Dorant, Miles Creevy and Mike Long clinched a 3-1 win for Birkbeck Orient A against BG United, with Ivo Stambolis on the scoresheet for BG.

Henry Swales grabbed a hat-trick for Top Red as they climbed to joint second place in Division Three with an emphatic 7-1 win over Maynell, while Gladstone Wanderers beat Wenlock Arms 6-3.

Simon Stone’s brace helped Bocca Albion to defeat Football Club 22 4-1, with Stuart Taggart and Taylor Layton on target for Regent’s Park Rovers as they beat Boston Celtic 2-0.

Lee Hall hit a treble for Division Four leaders Wojack Sunday, who won 8-3 against Leyton Manor, while Renaissance held off Eastway Olympia 4-3.

Andre Morrille scored twice as Woodford Rovers saw off Birkbeck Orient B 4-1, while East London hammered Bethune 9-2, with Steven Farren netting a hat-trick.

In the Dickie Davies Cup, Division Three side Stratford Athletic overcame Walthamstow Village 4-3, Chapel United beat Tommy Flynn’s (Hackney) 2-1 and MDM defeated South London Sharks 4-2.
