Jake Davies netted four times as Mile End were made to work for their 6-3 victory over Division One side Heegan in the Jack Walpole Cup.

Jason Burwood and Ashley Gapper were also on target for the Premier Division outfit, while Mohammed Omer struck twice for Heegan, with Mohammed Yusef hitting their third.

Greig Moorse registered a first-half brace for Mustard to ensure that they progressed to the next round, with a volley from Baron Charlery sealing their 3-0 win against Boroughs United.

Two other Premier Division teams also advanced after overcoming lower league opposition, with Elliot Crosbie giving Tottenham Phoenix a slender first-half lead in their tie against Bristow City.

Isaac Sanusi, Montel Shalder-Gagoles and Moses Akim were all on the scoresheet after the break as Phoenix emerged 4-0 winners, while Niva-Unistream triumphed 3-1 against a spirited Regent’s Park Rovers – who played with only 10 men throughout.

Division Three side Chapel United pulled off the result of the round after edging out Hackney All Stars in a penalty shoot-out.

Daniel Matthew opened the scoring for the All Stars, but Chris Mulroy levelled and, with no further goals in extra time, it was Chapel who held their nerve to win the shoot-out 4-3.

Dave Barnish struck a goal in each half, with Manuel Rodriguez also on target, as Gladstone Wanderers held off Wojack Sunday to win their Jack Morgan Cup second round tie 3-2. Dario Browne and Ahmed Euba scored for Wojack.

Bailey Morgan’s brace and a goal from Gianpaulo Floris sealed a 3-1 success for Division Two side Delta Athletic in their tie against Bethune FC.

Premier Division leaders Clapton Rangers had to be at their best to win their league clash against New Kuba, with Ashley Taylor-Forbes scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory. Dale Piercy replied for Kuba.

Andriy Mozil’s hat-trick helped to extend FC Krystal’s run of form as they routed Riviera 5-1 in Division One, with Varga Attila and Vitali Kotsan also finding the net. Ervis Molla netted Riviera’s consolation.

Andy Benskin’s double was not enough for Newcresse as they went down 3-2 in a hard-fought clash with Athletico Angels. Pav Santamaria, Ashley Green and James Brockbank were the Angels’ scorers.

Fekkat Bilgili’s brace earned Dynamics a 2-1 win over Highfield, with Tope Olateju replying, while league leaders Forest Athletic bounced back from last week’s penalty shoot-out loss against London Meteors by hammering MDM United 6-2.

Bradley O’Donovan rifled in four of the Forest goals, with Junior Defoe and Ben Nwo also getting their names on the scoresheet and Akwasi Merfo netting both for MDM.

Darius Mofac and Onisim Chelba scored the goals for Lions FC in their 2-1 success against Wounded Knee, with Godfrey Hamilton replying.

In Division Two, Shoreditch Fire Penguins and BG United fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw, with Duncan Coombs among the scorers for the Penguins.

Leigh Marren and Nathan Skelton both scored braces for Boston Celtic as they defeated Wenlock Arms 4-1 in Division Three.

Meanwhile, Stratford Athletic won 3-1 against Maynell, with Ash Hauser netting twice and Sam Deas adding the third. Tokundo Adleke replied for Maynell.
