Hackney & Leyton League: Meteors make second final of the season
Black Meteors progressed to their second final of the season after beating Premier League rivals Metwin 2-1 in the Albert Daniels semi-finals.
Frank Amankwah and Enoch Boateng scored for Meteors, with Nathan Scarborough replying.
Division side FC Storm will face Meteors at Wadham Lodge after they beat fellow Division One side Embassy Snooker 4-0.
V Tyrianskiy hit a double, while Konstantin Smal and M Kobets were also on target.
Premier League leaders Real Romania remain top of the table after a 2-1 victory over Lapton.
Ionut Coropceanu was again on target for Real, while Marian Neculai also scored, with Gabriel scoring Lapton’s consolation.
Bancroft United won 4-1 against Army & Navy. Army & Navy took the lead through an own goal, but a second half hat trick from Jack Hicks plus a Lee Smith strike won the game for United.

Hackney Borough have been promoted to the Premier League as Division One champions after a 4-2 win over Wounded Knee.
Borough led 1-0 at half-time thanks to Gavin Kealy’s 10th goal of the season, with Alfie Greenaway, Lee Vega and Mikhail Hendricks Borough’s other scorers, with John Bray and Russell Hughes replying for Knee.
Lancresse Rnagers and Tergemo played out a 1-1 draw with Toks Williams on target for Rangers and Lee Charlton replying for Tergemo.
A Stephen Prince first half double was not enough for FC Polit who were comfortably beaten 5-2 by Vio Romania, for who Andrei Boros (2), Beny Poleuici, Grab Ion and Stratulat Vzadut were on target.
Division Two leaders Shakespeare won 5-3 against Athletico Angels. Tigo Harrison and Jon McGreal both hit braces, with Ashley Clarke also on target, with Michael case (2) and Ashley Green scoring for Angels.
Second placed Tottenham Phoenix warmed up for their Jack Morgan Cup final at Wadham Lodge this Friday with a 4-0 win over Wenlock Arms, thanks to a Jerome Anglin double, plus strikes from Ruel Sandiford and Elvis Osemwegie.
Third placed Warren Hackney won 3-1 nagainst Para Siempre. Same See struck twice while Jack Shirley once, while Alex Williams replied for Siempre.
Division Three leaders Mustard won 3-0 against Regents Park Rovers, while third placed Comets won 5-3 against Azzurri One.
Stephen Deering struck twice, with Jordan Meikle, Billy Stevens and James Panton on target for Comets. F Notaro and O Ptuttle replied for Azzurri.
Goals by Dan Martin and T Harris (2) earned AFC Knights a 3-1 win over Cock Tavern, for who Darly Barclay was on target.
Division Four champions Chapel Old Boys won 5-1 against Eastway Olympia. Christian Smith (2), Ian Ridley, Dan Monerio and Patrick Fitzpatrick scored one each for Chapel.
Second place Hackney O’s won 4-2 against third place Highams Park Rangers. Rob McAdams (2), Ben Clark and Kwesi Garde scoring one each for O’s. Paul Christodolou and Adam Rowe replying for Rangers.
