THREE Hackney Community College players and one former College student have been selected to represent Great Britain under- 20s at the forthcoming Europ-ean Youth Championships in Romania next month.
Darryl Bethune, Ali Fullah and Michael Ochareobia, all members of last season's all-conquering HCCA team have been chosen along with another Hackney player amd former HCCA product Orlan Jackman.
Orlan left the Falkirk Street college two years ago and attended the Army & Navy College, San Diego, California, on a basketball scholarship.
Since returning to Britain, Orlan has been playing for English Basketball League champions Manchester Magic last season and is currently home training at Hackney College.
Orlan will take another US scholarship at the Seminole State College, Oklahoma, in the autumn.
