And London Tigers were all smiles after beating Mad Marrocas by 28 runs in their encounter.

Sayad Ahmed (50) and Rafiqul Rashal (41) shone with the bat as Tigers made 146, with Marrocas restricted to 118-7 in reply.

In what is developing into an exciting group F, with one week to go before teams are split, London Fields showed superb form to beat Broadway Market City by an emphatic 63-run margin.

Will Issac starred with the bat, hitting 53, and had support from Paul Teasdale (39) and Oli Turner (30) as they reached 155-4 from their 16 overs.

Broadway were dismissed for just 92 in under 12 overs, with Faisel (23) their top run-getter as Dennis McDonagh nabbed 2-8.

Victoria Lounge completed a hard-fought win over Bankso Bears in the remaining match in this group, after holding their rivals to 123-7.

Tom Stevens (30), Rob Jacobs (28) and James Cruntcher (22) were the leading batsmen for Lounge in their successful run chase as they clinched a nine-wicket win inside 14 overs.

Defending champions Rose & Crown were made to work hard for their latest win by Homerton the following day.

After putting their rivals into bat, they saw Homerton make a useful 131-6, led by Hutch (42) and Mark (26).

Joe Fisher retired out after reaching an impressive 55 in reply, in an 88-run opening stand, but victory was not secured until the final over, when the winning runs were scrambled with two balls remaining.

Best Nationals piled up a commanding 160-5 from their 16 overs against Sports Interactive, thanks largely to Irfan Abbas 944) and Suraj (45 not out).

Tirath Singh (50) and Keith Flannery (45) shared a fine partnership in reply, but Sports Interactive eventually came up 45 runs of their target.

Thursday saw Stokey Scoundrels maintain their fine form with 159-2 against Ex Pats.

Sarafat Ali (50) and Riz Siddiqi (41) were their leading lights, with the latter falling to a great catch from Mike McGhan.

Ex Pats suffered an early injury retirement before finally coming up short of their target on 113-5.

Alex Hickson retired out on 50, but returned to eventually reach 63 ina losing cause.
