Mustard are through to the Jack Walpole Cup final after seeing off the challenge of Clapton Rangers in a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Mustard, who will meet Clapton again in this weekend’s Dickie Davies Cup final, will face either Mile End or Young London Meteors for another chance of silverware after David Falah’s 85th-minute winner.

In a repeat of the 2012-13 final, it was Mustard who raced into a 2-0 lead inside 15 minutes through Greg Moorse and Lenny Labilht. Ashley Taylor-Forbes pulled a goal back for Clapton, only for Moorse to restore Mustard’s two-goal cushion.

Taylor-Forbes scored his second and Maurice Byfield then brought the scores level – but Falah struck the winner to end Clapton’s resolve, unleashing a superb volley to send Mustard through.

In the Hackney & Leyton League Division One, FC Krystal were promoted to the Premier Division after an impressive 5-0 triumph over Wounded Knee.

Petro Sokik scored four of the goals, with Andray Mozil completing the rout on a memorable afternoon for Krystal.

In the other second-tier fixture, Highfield FC and Forest Athletic took a share of the spoils after a compelling 3-3 draw.

Bradley O’Donovan completed his hat-trick for Forest with a last-gasp equaliser, after David Adesina’s brace and another strike from Jorah Demgon appeared to have won it for Highfield.

In Division Two, Delta Athletic were awarded the points after FC Haggerston failed to fulfil the fixture.

Into Division Three, and Chapel United took four points off Stratford Athletic in a double-header, drawing the first game 3-3 and then winning the second convincingly 7-1.

Michael Rooney scored twice for Stratford in the opening match – adding to another fine effort from Jude Warnes – but goals from Chris Mulroy, Jack Corran and Ashleigh Smithson meant both sides had to settle for a draw.

It was the first points Chapel had dropped all season, but they ensured there would be no repeat in the second clash as Mulroy scored twice to spark a goal fest.

Paul Connell, Michael Carlin, Johnny Fitzpatrick, Peter Green and Clint Davis were all on the target for United as Stratford, who got a consolation through James Falaise, were put to the sword.

Elsewhere, Top Red still have a chance of pipping Regent’s Park Rovers to promotion after they recorded a 5-3 win over Bocca Albion. Sam Norris scored a hat-trick for Bocca, but it was all in vain. Sam Jones scored three himself, while Tom Beardmore netted twice as Red moved to within two points of Rovers.
