Hackney swimming club tastes success at Middlesex Swimming Championships
Ella Sharman shone at last weekend’s Middlesex swimming championships in Enfield, becoming Clissold Swimming Club’s first ever medal winner at a county competition.
Sharman, who lives in Lavender Groves, Hackney, claimed bronze in her 50 metres breaststroke race.
In what was a very tough competition, the club entered 25 swimmers into the championships, with 29 new personal bests being set.
