Ashley Taylor-Forbes snatched a second-half winner as Clapton Rangers defeated Shakespeare 2-1 to go six points clear at the top of the Hackney & Leyton League Premier Division.

Maurice Byfield put the league leaders ahead, but Terry Butler levelled just before half-time, only for Taylor-Forbes to net the decisive goal.

Vincent Williams struck a brace as FC Bartlett beat Phoenix 4-2, with Tope Abutoto and Lee Heneghan also on target, and RL United shared a hard-fought 3-3 draw with Tottenham Phoenix.

Vas Sopylyluk, Matthew Harris and Nethanel Levy scored for RL, with Phoenix’s Jermaine Anglia netting a brace and Menalick Richards adding their other goal. Elsewhere, London Meteors and Niva-Unistream drew 2-2.

Onisim Prichich registered a double for Lions FC as they beat Division One leaders Forest Athletic 4-1, with Beny Palevicia and Grab Banut also finding the net.

Wounded Knee hammered Newcresse 7-2, with Dominic English, Tim Jopling, Nick Hussein, Joshua Ademola, Karim Ennouiti, Andy Quayle and Rob Evans all featuring on the scoresheet.

Darryl Marson and Daniel Matthews both hit braces for Hackney All Stars in their 5-3 win over Dynamics, with Quincy Roberts completing their tally. Gunner Kaya replied with two goals for Dynamics.

Mark Amodio and Jordan Smith netted two goals apiece for Division Two leaders Bristow City as they recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory over Jay Cubed, with Jamie McCraden and Rich Stronger also on target.

Tom Collins scored twice and Duncan Coombes grabbed a late winner for Shoreditch Fire Penguins as they beat City Fliers 3-2, despite a brace from Scott Freeman.

Angel & Crown beat Delta Athletic 4-1 with strikes from Calum Ellis, Charlie Barrett, Robert Townsend and an own goal, while Walthamstow Village overcame FC Grove 4-2.

In Division Three, Joe Seabrook netted a hat-trick for Chapel United in their 5-1 victory over Football Club 22, with Clint Edwards and Paul Wiggins also on the mark.

Borough United beat Regent’s Park Rovers 3-0 with goals from Denzel Reid, Jordan Lynch- Mavanis and Kieran Pullorow, while a double by Sam Woodford helped Stratford Athletic to a 3-3 draw with Maynell.

David Dice struck all three goals for Renaissance as they rose to third in Division Four after edging out Bethune FC 3-2. Sam Marshall and Michael Johnson were on target for Bethune.

Tope Olateju scored four times for Highfield as they saw off Premier Division side New Kuba 5-3 to reach the next round of the Albert Daniels Senior Cup.

Braces from Gazmeno Diuti and Antmir Karampollai helped Riviera to a 5-3 win over MDM, while Mustard needed extra time to see off Athletico Angels 5-3 despite a hat-trick from Greg Moorse.

Division Four side Eastway Olympia eventually ran out of steam, going down 5-4 to BG United in the Jack Morgan Cup after extra time, while Gladstone Wanderers also progressed with a 5-1 win over Waltham Forest.

Patrick O’Neill’s double helped East London to an emphatic 6-0 victory over Bow Badgers in the Hackney & Leyton Junior Cup first round, with Bocca Albion squeezing past Dynamo Gobbler 4-3.

Calum Jones struck twice for South London Sharks in their 5-0 success against Birkbeck Orient B, while Wojack Sunday moved into the next round with a 6-3 win over Woodford Rovers.
