It’s not just the girls who shake their money-makers at Brick Lane’s now famous cabaret supper club the Brickhouse.
The boys will be getting in on the act too from next week as Electric Burlesque takes a trip across the pond from Seattle with its boylesque performers.
Professional dancer Paris Original will be a vision of balletic beauty while internationally recognised burlesque sensation the Luminous Pariah will bring the audience saucy, intelligent satire, witty comedy, avant garde artistry, and tantalizing tease.
But it’s not an exclusively male affair as female burlesque performers Sassy Delure and Ophelia Moore will also take to the stage. But they’ll have to go a long way to outshine a boy in a tutu dancing en pointe.
Electric Burlesque featuring Boylesque is on at the Brickhouse from Tuesday until Saturday, July 30. A four-course dinner and entertainment costs from 40 per head, while show only tickets cost 10 from www.thebrickhouse.co.uk
