An East End exhibition brings the traditional British bingo hall to a modern Shoreditch bar this week.
Photographer Michael Hess unveils the nostalgic world of betting cards and characters hidden away inside the booths in the first showing of the images from his book Bingo & Social Club.
He visited more than 60 bingo halls across the UK over a period of five years.
The exhibition includes some unpublished work alongside interviews and overheard conversations.
Bingo & Social Club by Michael Hess goes on show at The Book Club in Leonard Street, Shoreditch, until March 30.
