Festival-goers got a dousing at the weekend as thousands flocked to the East End for the ninth-annual Lovebox Weekender in Victoria Park.

Celebrities, including T4’s Jameela Jamil, Kelly Osbourne and Jaime Winstone, were among those reaching for their brollies at the three day festival which saw performances by West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg, East Coast hip-hop collective De La Soul, New York punk-pop pioneers Blondie, Swedish songstress Lykke Li and rising R&B star Katy B.

But the sun did peep from behind the clouds for long enough to coax one pair of party-goers out form under the shelter of a chalk board advertising iced coffee.

Snoop Dogg, who had set up his own private Nando’s chicken stall next to his trailer backstage, paid tribute to his friend and former Dogg Pound member Nate Dogg who died of a stroke earlier this year.
